The Fogle Approach

I believe that there is no one-size fits-all approach to therapy and view every relationship as a cross-cultural experience. Consequently, my style embraces a ‘Pluralistic’ approach, utilising a range of modalities and training techniques; that enable me to incorporate various routes to manage and collaborate with you (the client).

Arnold Beisser states that ‘change occurs when one becomes what he is, not when he tries to become what he is not’. Therefore, when working with clients, I pride myself on facilitating a space where there is the freedom to be truly ‘who you are’, without judgement. I am aware that there may be biological, psychological, sociological, and cultural factors that contribute to the challenges that clients experience. Therefore, when addressing therapeutic needs, I take the ‘whole’ person into account, across five areas of functioning: Physical, Emotional, Volitional, Rational and Spiritual.

Upon conducting a thorough assessment across these various domains, I then agree to work short or long term, and in accordance with your goals. Together we can collaborate to remedy, repair, and relinquish the patterns of behaviour that are limiting you, so you can begin to realise your potential.
